This is a one of a little series of Findhorn Dharma Talks, sharing the unfolding of an experiment in exploring via Action Research how a Findhorn Foundation SCIO can serve the community of the Park Ecovillage Findhorn in new ways – especially through being a vehicle for the educational impulse alive in the community. The Dharma Talks were originally articles published in the Rainbow Bridge, the community’s weekly magazine/ezine.

A New Year, A Shared Path Forward

As we step into 2026 – even through the paths blanketed by snows – the Trustees of the Findhorn Foundation SCIO want to share a warm, energising update on our activities. Recent meetings have been grounded, practical, and quietly hopeful — as we continue to make progress through due diligence explorations and business plan drafting while staying true to Findhorn’s soul DNA of listening, learning, and co-creation.

Our shared focus is clear: how to re-establish a vibrant educational presence in the Park, in partnership with the Education Circle, SEEN and Asset Transfer organisations and the global Findhorn ecosystem. We are reviewing designs for signature 5- and 7-day programmes that can be piloted from Spring to Fall 2026. At the same time, we are identifying the logistics and partnerships needed to support offerings from independent facilitators. Likewise, we are looking at sustainable ways to steward our free global offerings of morning meditations and FB inspirations, so they can continue to serve people around the world.

Alongside this, Trustees are giving careful attention to long-term structures — clarifying governance as a potential Tier 2 SCIO, and our recommendations for membership, subscriptions and financing. As some of you know, we are also considering the Park Building as a potential future home for education. We will offer a firsthand update on all our activities at the NFA meeting January 12 – and we invite your questions beforehand so we can respond as fully as possible. (Send to email below).

With gratitude for the many hands, hearts, and minds involved, we move forward in the spirit of many gateways, one garden — trusting that by tending what is local with care, we enable what is global to flourish. 🌍✨ Marilyn Hamilton, Submitted on behalf of FF SCIO
