This is a one of a little series of Findhorn Dharma Talks, sharing the unfolding of an experiment in exploring via Action Research how a Findhorn Foundation SCIO can serve the community of the Park Ecovillage Findhorn in new ways – especially through being a vehicle for the educational impulse alive in the community. The Dharma Talks were originally articles published in the Rainbow Bridge, the community’s weekly magazine/ezine.

FF3 Business Plan – Process Update
We would like to share a brief update on where we are in the FF3 business plan process and how we are moving forward. We are currently in Phase 2 of the process. This phase focuses on listening, testing assumptions, and refining what has been developed so far.
Since November, work has been underway to create a solid and realistic business plan that supports FF3’s financial viability while we remain in an ongoing exploration with the community. In the initial phase, different options were reviewed to understand what is most viable in the short term and how the organisation can continue in a responsible and sustainable way.
As part of Phase 2, a focus group was held last week with a diverse group of community members. The focus group brought a wide range of perspectives, including appreciation, questions, concerns, and suggestions. The tone of the conversation was open and very helpful.
The input from this focus group is now being carefully reviewed and will be used to strengthen and clarify the business plan — including how it reflects learning from the past, relates to current realities in the Park and the wider world, and supports trust and sustainability moving forward. This focus group is one step in an ongoing process of exploration and dialogue. The work is still evolving, and no final decisions have been made. We see this as a shared learning process and remain committed to staying open to what is emerging.
In the coming period, you will see some activity in the form of scheduled events. These are intended to help ensure FF3 remains financially viable while this wider exploration continues. These programmes are not the only direction we are moving in, and much remains flexible and emergent. We are starting with what we know can work, with some adaptation, while continuing to learn and evolve together.
We warmly invite the community to stay engaged and to join upcoming opportunities to listen, ask questions, and contribute as we move into Phase 3: Community Consultation. You are warmly invite all of you to:
