This is an article originally posted in Park Ecovillage Findhorn’s Rainbow Bridge e-zine. It is a Dharma Talk Updating I, We, World on the progress of the Findhorn Foundation SCIO.

As we cross the threshold of the Summer Solstice, the Trustees of the Findhorn Foundation SCIO are delighted to share some good news with our beloved community.
Following many months of listening, consultation, community meetings, questions, conversations, and careful drafting, the Trustees have unanimously approved a new Constitution and formally resolved to become a Two-Tier SCIO.
In simple terms, this means that FF3 is taking an important next step towards more inclusive community participation and stewardship of the educational impulse we share. Alongside Trustees, we will be making plans for Members to help shape the future of the organisation and elect Trustees through the democratic processes set out in the Constitution.
This milestone follows a season of regenerative engagement with the community. From the Town Hall gathering in May to the many conversations that contributed to our June 15 FF3 gathering. We really valued the lively participation of our Question/Answer Gameshow and the thoughtful comments, practical wisdom and encouragement. We felt a genuine desire to co-create an organisational structure fit for the future.
The Solstice reminds us that growth unfolds in seasons. Spring has been a time of planting and preparation. Summer now invites us to cultivate what has been seeded. Over the summer months, FF3 will be focusing on the next steps: registering Members, preparing nomination processes, inviting future Trustee candidates, and organising the first elections as a 2 Tier SCIO. We will share our plans as these unfold.
At the same time, we are happy to report that our educational work continues to grow. Experience Weeks, Findhorn Garden Weeks, Seeds of Light, Partner Programmes, and collaborations across the Park Ecovillage Findhorn are all helping to re-establish a vibrant educational presence rooted in our founding principles while serving today’s world.
We are grateful to everyone who has contributed to this journey — Trustees, Operations and Inspiration Teams, SEEN (SCIO, Education Circle, Ecovillage Findhor, NFA) , Volunteers, Partners, Donors, Visitors, and Community Members here, near and far.
As the sun reaches its northern height, FF3 celebrates not an ending but a beginning on a shared path forward. With gratitude and Solstice blessings.
